Note that the 1771-WD field wiring arm is used to make connections to the modules. The wiring arm is attached to the pivot bar on the bottom of the I/O chassis. The field wiring arm pivots upward and it connects with the module, enabling the module to be installed or removed without disconnecting the wires.
